Description

Jessica has worked at Discovery for over 2 years, and she loves being part of children's growth and learning experiences. She has her early childhood education certificate and is currently working on an associate's degree. One of her goals is to work in the field of special needs education. Jess heads our safety committee.

Nancy has been working with children for many years and enjoys working with the children and the staff at Discovery Junction. She has her associate's degree in early childhood education and is currently working on continuing education.

Samantha has her bachelor's degree from Penn State in human development and family studies. She has worked with pediatric patients for two years of a volunteer internship. She loves getting to know each child individually and watching the children learn and grow.

Kari loves working with children, has been with Discovery Junction for more than 5 years, and is currently pursuing her CDA (Child Development Associate) credentials.

Rick and Nancy Edris, long-time residents of Lebanon County, had a desire to fill a need in their community for quality child care. This inspired them to open Tender Heart Child Care Center in Annville, PA, in 1991. When the opportunity arose in 2005, they opened a second center, Discovery Junction Child Development Center. Since then, Discovery Junction has continued to grow in enrollment and community outreach, and the Edrises continue to love working with our children and families.
