Founded in 1961, District Moving has over 50 years of experience in the moving, storage, and office relocation industry. We are a young and dynamic company that employs over 75 full-time employees including local veterans who specialize in residential relocation for military personnel and government office re-locations including the US House of Representatives, F.E.M.A, FAA and Johns Hopkins Hospital.

District also is an authorized GSA contractor providing a wide range of services to several Government agencies. Whether you’re rearranging a couple cubicles, or an entire agency District can handle your move on time and on budget.

District owns and operates nearly 120,000 square feet of a modern state of the art storage facility conveniently located in the D.C metropolitan area. We offer our customers a wide range of services from warehousing and distribution services to freight management.
