Our skilled bakers bake from scratch formulas, utilizing the highest quality ingredients to create the most eye appealing, most desirable, and best-tasting baked goods. We bake fresh items, frozen raw doughs, and more across all bakery product lines. We provide solutions for retail in-store bakery, food service, convenience stores, school food service, and other market-specific formats.

Dobake Bakeries’ heritage and expertise extends to premium baked breads and rolls. We provide ready to go solutions for our customers. We contract pack fresh bread and rolls, and fully baked-frozen roll items for a wide variety of foodservice and retail uses.

Today, Dobake Bakeries’ home is a 120,000 square foot facility in Oakland, California. We operate 24/7 and create a full range of bakery products from scratch formulas including: breads , brownies , muffins , pastries , and sliced loaf cakes . We also contract pack for other manufacturers and retailers. Our wholesale products are distributed nationally, and you can find us in retailers such as Lucky and Save Mart Supermarkets, and 7-Eleven. We’re also a proud supplier to California schools, serving kids K-12.

Dobake Bakeries’ success in the market was now well recognized, and in 2002 the business was sold to GESD Capital Partners, a leading investment group in San Francisco, whose principals have significant experience in the baking industry. Dobake Bakeries, Inc. now operates under the parent organization Gold Coast Bakeries, which also includes SoCal Bakeries and Artisan Bakers .
