Dr. Deborah Tierney and Dr. Irvin Herling opened Doc Side Veterinary Medical Center in 1999 with a promise to provide the absolute best medical care available to the pets of Fells Point and the surrounding neighborhoods. Recognized as downtown Baltimore's premier animal hospital, Doc Side offers the most advanced veterinary medical procedures available today. We were one of the first hospitals in Maryland to offer a new, minimally invasive surgical technique to spay our canine and feline friends. This new procedure is less painful, takes less time and, in most cases, allows your pet to go home the same day and resume normal activity immediately.
