Louis Peter Re Jr., MD is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He is fellowship trained and specializes in Shoulder, Knee and Sports Medicine Recnstructions. Dr. Re graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia College, then went on to the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. He completed his surgical internship at Yale University, where he continued on to complete his Residency in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation. read more He is well known for his work on several research projects involving shoulder and knee reconstructions, and is an alumnus of the Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute. He is currently a Clinical Instructor of Shoulder Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Surgery at Roosevelt Hospital/Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, teaching the Orthopedic Surgery Residents and Medical Students the most modern techniques in tendon, ligament & cartilage reconstructions. Dr. Re is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American College of Sports Medicine.
