Storm Water Management Dodson & Associates, Incorporated has been involved in the storm water pollution arena since the beginning years of NPDES regulations, both in permitting and in education. We have provided training and compliance support to three state Departments of Transportation: the Arizona DOT, Hawaii DOT, and New Mexico DOT to assist them with NPDES compliance. In each case, we were asked to assist the DOT in developing strategies to implement Best Management Practices (BMPs) that would allow them to operate their systems in compliance with their municipal discharge permits. The projects detailed below, as well as our experience teaching NPDES seminars, has given us an excellent understanding of Phase I, Phase II and Industrial Storm Water program preparation.
