Prior to starting his construction business in 1984, he worked as a subcontractor with his father, where they performed numerous renovations and additions in the local historic Hillsborough and surrounding areas. After two years at Brevard College, Mike became a real estate broker and worked for two years for a local real estate firm and still holds an active brokers license . Mike also holds a North Carolina Private Home inspectors license , and performs inspections through Dodson Inspections Incorporated Dodson Construction Company Incorporated is a full service building and contracting firm, which specializes in custom homes, additions and renovations. We take pride in our employees and subcontractors as they provide personalized service, excellent workmanship and attention to detail on each project We specialize in projects ranging up to $500,000.00 built on our customer's own land. We can do any type of addition you desire and provide great care and patience with the renovation of an existing home.
