Doherty & Progar was founded to provide personalized, superior legal representation in the Midwest. We are an AV-rated law firm and concentrate our practice solely on litigation. Each of our partners has more than twenty-five years of experience in all phases of litigation, from resolution prior to suit through jury trials involving tens of millions of dollars.

Our toxic tort practice includes attorneys experienced in a wide variety of litigation. We handle cases involving claimed exposure to carcinogens, as well as a host of other toxic fibers, chemicals, and drugs. We represent manufacturers of industrial paints and solvents, pesticides, silica flour, and asbestos-containing products. We represent landlords in lead poisoning cases, and manufacturers of products that incorporate or produce toxic agents. We have successfully defended against "junk science" claims and have defeated such theories by appropriate pre-trial motions.

Our attorneys are experienced in providing litigation defense to municipal corporations, as well as providing letters of opinion concerning the interpretation of statutes and ordinances.
