The company which is now Dolan Inc. was established in 1949 in New Brunswick by Jack Dolan Jr. In 1956, Jack moved his plumbing and heating operation to Somerset, where he began to develop a base of satisfied customers. Over twenty years later, his sons, Jack III and Mike joined him full-time and the firm became Jack Dolan & Sons.
