Mr. Kang is co-founder and principal engineer. He has three decades of experience in the design and analysis of aircraft components, medical devices, and shock/blast mitigation. He designs and fabricates Dominca’s shock and impact testing equipment, incorporating associated electronics and transducers. He also fabricates prototypes, conducts experiments, and analyzes results.

Dr. Winfree is a co-founder. She has three decades of experience in engineering, including nearly twenty years in impact dynamics and shock compression of condensed matter, and ten years in blast/shock mitigation technology. Her expertise includes design and analysis of experiments involving high pressure shock-compression of materials, with a focus on solid mechanics and material behavior. She has expertise in the continuum modeling of solid-to-solid diffusionless phase-transformations of materials such as shape memory alloys and GeO 2 under impact. Dr.
