Donco Construction, Inc. was established in 1979 by its founder and owner, Mr. Don R. DeArmon. In 1981 construction of a 14,900 square foot office, service and warehouse connected facility located at 1506 US Highway 45 in Eldorado, Illinois was completed. Donco Construction, Inc. specialized in transmission and distribution powerlines and substation construction in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Missouri. Their primary client base consisted of electric utility companies, coal companies and industrial plants. Specialized off-road line equipment and heavy wire stringing equipment made Donco Construction, Inc. an essential resource for their customers. On March 15, 1999 Greg Fowler, Executive Vice President of J. F. Electric, Inc. purchased all of the assets of Donco Construction, Inc. and formed Donco Construction LLC. Former owner Don R. DeArmon committed to a five year consultant position with the new company and all other former management, office, mechanics and field personnel were employed by the new company. On October 1, 2003, Donco Construction LLC purchased the assets of Kuhn Electric located in Centralia, Illinois. As of this date, Donco has expanded their electrical contruction services to include commercial, industrial and residential clientel in Southern Illinois. In addition to the purchase of Kuhn Electric's assets, Donco Construction LLC also retained the services of all former management, office, warehouse and field personnel of Kuhn Electric. The...
