Description

Doodlebug is a labor of love for Marnie Delaney. A longtime marketing professional, Marnie left Bank of America following the merger with Nations Bank. Soon realizing that she didn't want to rejoin the corporate world, she conceived "doodlebug" - a creative headquarters for children and adults who want to discover (or rediscover) and express their creativity. Marnie graduated, with a major in Fine Arts, from Union College in Schenectady, New York after attending the Loomis-Chaffee School in Windsor, Connecticut. She worked at major ad agencies in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco during a twenty-year career in advertising, subsequently serving as a Senior Vice President at Bank of America, running advertising and marketing communications. Marnie grew up in Connecticut, the oldest of four sisters. Her sister Joelle was supposed to be the "creative" one and Marnie (originally Marion "the librarian") was the bookworm. As evidence of everyone's ability to transcend early labels, Joelle now has a bookstore in Costa Rica, and Marnie is the proud owner of doodlebug, creative headquarters in Marin.
