After 30 years as an Authorized Raynor Steel Garage Door Distributor, and 20 years building high-end custom wood doors, Kurt Thornburg knew quality. As the years went by, he became increasingly frustrated with the lack of quality in what was available in the door panel market. He felt the stiles and rails were too small for the added weight on a custom door, the plywood material was cheap, and the gap between the panels was unacceptable.
