Description

Soon after introducing ourselves to the PRE we knew we wanted to surround ourselves with these noble horses. Although riding for most of her life, Suzanne was introduced to Dressage just about the same time as our search began for the Andalusian that would start it all. Our first PRE was Tosco, a 16.3hh grey gelding bred by Garrison Ranch, who is now Suzanne's dressage partner. In 2001 we added Lancia DW, a wonderful mare that the whole family rides and adores. From this humble beginning was born Dorado Andaluz. We plan on showing our horses in Dressage, at Foundation Shows to Spanish Judges and in open competition. We hope to be a positive influence within the breed here in the USA. We recently moved to our new farm in the wine country of El Dorado County California. Here we have 26 acres in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Our horses have several large safely fenced pastures as well as a top notch barn, a covered full court Dressage arena, and breeding facility. There are miles of trails and the scenery is spectacular. While we desire to remain a small breeding operation we will be insistent on producing quality horses. Our goal is to breed and raise the perfect life partner. We strive to produce PRE horses with unequal temperament, correct gaits, and the mind to be a champion, who on days off enjoys a trail ride or plays with your children.
