Double Stink Hog Farm is a family farm located on the corner of US 460 and KY 922. This 200 acre farm owned by us, Julius, Tom, and Howard Fister, specializes in the sale of top quality produce at a reasonable price. You, the customers, are considered our neighbors no matter how far you have come, and for this reason you will always be treated with a smile and country warmth. We want you to feel comfortable when you visit our farm! The farm has certainly changed considerably since the first sale of produce to the public started quite by accident over 20 years ago. We had grown a few pumpkins for our kids and had placed them on the porch of one of our houses. Several motorists stopped to inquire whether the pumpkins were for sale. the following year more pumpkins were planted and then piled in the yard of one of our homes. A crude sign was erected that simply read "Pumpkins For Sale". Around the same time we decide to try our luck at selling sweet corn. Some of you may well remember the early years of buying produce out of our front yard. Often we did not have a "salesperson" on the premises only an "honesty box". Customers simply left their money in this box after picking up their produce. Yeah, it sounds kind of trust-worthy, but we still believe in people and it worked! Back then, a good day of sweet corn sales consisted of getting rid of a bushel of corn.
