Description
Douglas Morgan has extensively studied and taught undergraduate and graduate students at the renowned Academy of Art in San Francisco, the largest art school in the United States. In addition to winning numerous awards for his work, his oil paintings have been displayed in many juried art shows, both on the West coast and nationally. He has been profiled in many prominent, nationally circulated art magazines including; Southwest Art, Art of The West, and American Artist magazine. He was also featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, Northern California's Largest Newspaper. One of his paintings was published in Best Of Flower Painting II, by North Light Books based in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a signature member of the Oil Painters of America and Society of Western Artists and an artist member of the California Art Club. He is also on their Board of Directors.
