Dovèl Technologies (Dovèl) started back in the late 1980’s as Integrated Data Corporation (IDC); at the time the company was a one-man consulting organization and the first project was a commercial project building an application for on-line trademark research – a very new concept at the time. Over the next 10-15 years the company expanded in size and scope; during that time the team, led by co-founder and recognized technical expert Dov Levy, provided high level technical and management services to several large mission-critical systems to several agencies in the Federal Government: From the late 1990’s until the middle of this decade, the company added projects and the internal organization expanded under the direction of co-founder Elma Levy. An expert team of HR, accounting, contracting and proposal management was established, the name was changed from IDC to Dovèl Technologies, and the company re-located to their current suite of offices in Tysons Corner. In 2005, the company became active at the FDA and was awarded it first prime project; rapid growth followed. In 2007 Dovèl was awarded two supplier awards by one of its customers, Northrop Grumman. In 2008 the company was externally assessed at CMMI Level 3 and in 2009 Dovèl was awarded the prestigious GovCon Award. Currently, Dovèl has engagements to multiple agencies, and the company is recognized for its SOA expertise and its cutting edge hands-on technical approach. Its senior team is invited to speak at conferences, and the company is courted by large integrators for teaming arrangements. The company continues to be financially stable, profitable and self sufficient; the two co-founders, Dov and Elma are still actively involved in the organization, however, a solid senior management team consisting of Frank Wilkinson, COO, Sam Ceccola, CTO, as well as VP’s and Directors now successfully manage the growth and daily operations of Dovèl. Today, Dovèl continues to pride itself on being very close to our customers, establishing relationships based on trust and high quality delivery.
