Description

Dover Management LLC was launched officially in March 2001, although its story really begins about a year earlier, when a unique confluence of events roiled the financial markets. The infamous dot-com bubble had burst, causing disarray and a loss of confidence in numerous segments of the market. At about the same time, a number of seemingly stable companies (Enron, Tyco, WorldCom, Adelphia and others) further shook investor confidence when their governance practices and business ethics were found to be questionable at best and, in many cases, destructive to their stakeholders.
