For over sixty-one years, Dowd & Dowd, Ltd. has been providing skilled legal counsel for its clients. This defense firm was founded in 1950 by two brothers, James and Joseph Dowd, following their service in World War II and the Korean Conflict. Their brother Michael was managing partner for twenty years until his premature passing in 1996. As an incredibly successful litigator, Michael Dowd tried over 250 cases to verdict in State and Federal Courts.

Ms. Adams has more than 20 years’ experience defending litigation claims in the areas of general negligence, construction and medical malpractice law. She served as primary counsel for a captive insurance company, providing risk management services to physicians and clinics. She has tried dozens of cases to verdict.

Born in Aurora, Illinois in 1976, admitted to the Illinois State Bar; admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Education: B.S. from the University of Illinois, 1998; M.A. in political philosophy and a J.D., cum laude from Loyola University College of Law, 2007. Seth also serves as an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve and is a commissioned Kentucky Colonel. Membership: Chicago Bar Association; Illinois Association of Defense Counsel.
