Doxia Web Design began in 1997 as an idea. It slowly developed into a strong desire in founder and president, Steve Etner. As various opportunities for Steve to create or re-design Web sites continued to come in, it was decided to created a company focused on one simple philosophy - "Professional Quality with a Personal Touch". The challenge was in deciding what to name the newly formed business. There were, of course many different possibilities, but in the end, there was only one obvious choice ... "Doxia Web Design". "Doxia" is a Biblical Greek word, and refers to giving God the glory, praise, honor and worship in everything that you do. It appears twice in our theme verse, I Peter 4:11 which says: " If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised (Doxia) through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory (Doxia) and the power for ever and ever. "
