Dr. Hibbs has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Florida State University, a Master's Degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Georgia State University. He has been licensed as a psychologist in Georgia since 1978. He is listed on the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. He is a Member of the American Psychological Association and a Fellow in the Georgia Psychological Association. He has served on the faculty of Kennesaw College, Mercer University, and Ogelthorpe University. Dr. Hibbs was the Coordinator of Child & Adolescent Services for the Cobb-Douglas Mental Health Center. He was also Psychologist and Clinical Supervisor for Adolescent Services at Clayton Mental Health Center. He was the Psychologist for the Adolescent Care Unit, an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment program. For five years, he worked at AlphaCare, a well-respected Christian counseling service in the Atlanta area. In that capacity, he appeared regularly on the daily radio program Marriage and Family Today. Dr. Hibbs is a graduate of the MentorCoach program, a training program that helps seasoned therapists retool their practices for work in the arena of personal and executive coaching.
