Dragonfly, a NY-based company specializing in Internet video distribution, founded in 2006, has announced today its receipt of $3m in angel investments from a variety of sources, including Ed Herrington (VistaPrint funder), David Solomon, and former NFL athlete Joe Theismann.

Dragonfly is an Internet video network company that provides enterprise level technology solutions to multinational corporations such as The Nielsen Company, among others. The company's enhanced video delivery, targeting and analytics systems allow customers to custom publish and track viewer behavior in order to better manage and enhance the value of their multimedia communications.

Steve Rabin has over 20 years of experience designing and delivering Enterprise class software. He currently serves as CTO for Insight Venture Partners, a New York-based $2 billion Venture Capital Fund that is the fastest-growing venture capital firm specializing in software and the Internet.

Barbara Newman is founder and principal of the Firefly Group, a brand-visioning and marketing firm. She has over 20 years of experience as a Creative-Director and strategist, building global award-winning campaigns for everyone from P&G to Slim-Fast. She is frequently asked to speak on branding and creativity.

As Managing Director of Grey Interactive Worldwide from 1996 to 2005, Orin was a member of the global management team that built the company from a start-up into one of the most successful Internet services enterprises in the marketing and advertising industry. His extensive experience in Internet marketing and customer-focused strategies for global clients helped establish and expand centers of excellence throughout their global network.
