Drake Engine's Incorporated was started in 1974 and incorporated in 1978. We do machine work for new/used car dealers, garages and marinas. We also specialize in custom machine work on both Classic and Antique Engines. We have extensive experience rebuilding various types of engines, including Duesenberg, Marmon V-16's, Jaguars, Packard V-12's and V-8's, Lincoln V-12's plus all time more common makes and uncommon. About 15 years ago a customer asked if we would rebuild an Inboard Marine Engine for his Hackercraft boat. Since then we do many different makes of marine engines some requiring extensive restoration to show quality appearance. This may include polishing brass and aluminum parts, special paint finishes as well as carburetors, generators or starter rebuilding. We also have the facilities to "run in" the engine. Our 2,500 sq. ft. service center is set up for in-shop repairs and complete engine overhauls is conveniently located at Exit 23 on I390 just west of downtown Rochester, NY.
