Drake Enterprises, Inc. was founded in 1952 by Benny Stemple and is now located in Clinton Township, Michigan. Beginning as a small 4 man operation, Benny never imagined his dreams and ambitions would lead to a 70,000 square foot facility with more than 100 employees. In 1964 Richard & Lee Stemple joined their father and today continue to strive in the competitive manufacturing environment with a vast variety of manufacturing equipment and quality products.

One of our specialty products is the manufacturing and assembling of gear shift levers and transmission components for the Class 8 heavy duty truck market. We have dedicated work cells for this unique commodity which starts from raw materials and continues through extrusion, welding, painting and finishes with a complete assembled product.

Drake Enterprises manufactures high quality machined parts worldwide, including specialty items such as Class 5 and Class 8 gear shift levers.
