"Ultimately, it's about taking care of our community. By providing nursing education closer to home, we provide students the most convenient opportunity to become a nurse. By educating nurses on the hospital campus, we increase the number of students who are exposed to our facility, technology, and culture; thereby increasing the odds that they will find DRH a favorable place to work post-graduation.

In addition to the counseling services, we provide therapeutic activities that allow patients an opportunity to explore and identify positive coping skills in an effort to improve their emotional and mental well-being. These activities are provided in a group setting and may include grief and loss resolution, therapeutic exercises, relaxation techniques, cognitive stimulation, educational instruction, communication skills and assertiveness training. We also provide lunch to our patients in a family dining atmosphere.

We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders associated with on the job, motor vehicle, orthopedic and sports injuries. Other conditions commonly treated include: neurological, burns/wounds, chronic pain, TMJ and pre/post surgical patients.
