On September 1, 1996, Dunn purchased the assets of Bush Construction Co., Inc. and formed what is now Dunn Roadbuilders, L.L.C. , which is headquartered in Laurel, Mississippi. Dunn Roadbuilders is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dunn Investment Company, Inc. and serves the east central and southeast sections of Mississippi. It has asphalt plants located in Laurel, Petal and Columbia. In addition to its asphalt plants,we have material yards at Petal,Laurel, and Merdian. Dunn owns and maintains a substantial inventory of mobile road building equipment capable of handling jobs of all sizes.

For our customers, we seek to provide quality work and products on time, in a courteous and professional manner, at a fair price. By this approach, our goal is to promote repeat business through satisfied customers.

Dunn Construction Company was formed in 1878 as a railroad construction company in Virginia. The Dunn Brothers moved their business to Birmingham, Alabama in the early 1900's. As the automobile became an accepted mode of transportation, Dunn recognized the potential for road paving and opened one of the country's first asphalt plants in 1915. The company has over 85 years of road building experience in the Southeast.
