In 2003, Dave Miller's wife, Paula, told him that he couldn't spend any more money on telescopes, mounts, and accessories until he could find a way to make money from his astronomy hobby. In November of 2005, Durango Skies Telescope and Binocular was launched in Durango, Colorado.
