Dr. Sawko worked as a computer programming engineer for the U.S. Department of Energy before completing medical school and going on to practice emergency medicine for over 20 years. He became President of Emergency Medicine Professionals in 1991 and co-founded DuvaSawko in 1998. It is Dr. Sawko who created the proprietary software programs that has spurred DuvaSawko to its reputation as the industry leader in practice management and reimbursement.
Dr. Duva is a sought after, experienced, and savvy emergency medicine physician-executive with special talents in managing and regenerating medical practices. Before co-founding DuvaSawko, Dr. Duva practiced emergency medicine for 20 years. He also served as Vice President and co-owner of Fish Memorial Hospital in DeLand, Florida, helping the hospital attain healthy profits.
Maureen has been with DuvaSawko since 2003 and is an accomplished and motivated healthcare executive with over thirty years business experience in the areas of sales and marketing, communications, business and economic development, government affairs, strategic planning, recruitment and public relations. In addition to her work at DuvaSawko, Maureen serves as physician and hospital liaison for EMPros, the emergency physician group managed by DuvaSawko principals, and Marketing Director for PrimeCare Urgent Care Centers.

Ms. Reynolds, a native of Sheffield, England, is a seasoned corporate executive with proven success and experience in the areas of healthcare administration and operations. In addition, she serves in leadership capacities as a volunteer with the American Heart Association and United Way. Ms. Reynolds has served as the Chief Operating Officer for DuvaSawko since 2003, in addition to working in many capacities for the firm since its inception in 1998. Her broad range of expertise spans the areas of management, training and staffing, finance, accounting, operations and strategic planning.
