As the former president of the Wish You Were Here Film and Video stock library in Burbank, Ca., Rick has extensive knowledge of the kinds of shots producers want. By traveling the world himself as a former Lonely Planet backpacker, shooting footage of the cultures he encountered, and by hand selecting the footage of fellow National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel and commercial cinematographers, Rick is determined to amass simply the greatest collection of 16mm, 35mm and DV based clips the web has to offer. He lives in Santa Barbara which he describes as "paradise".
