Dynamax Imaging, a leading provider of high performance CMOS image sensors for both consumer and industrial applied imaging applications, announced today that it has acquired substantially all of the assets of Panavision Imaging, LLC’s CMOS image sensor business. The acquired assets include the proprietary Active Column Sensor (ACS®) technology, which has demonstrated advantages over competing imaging technologies such as CCD and CMOS Active Pixel Sensor (APS) technology.
