Our audiologists are trained to evaluate and treat hearing impairments. They hold Master's Degrees, participate in continuing education programs, and must meet the certification requirements established by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In addition, all of our audiologists are required to comply with the licensing regulations for Hearing Aid Dispensers. Audiologists are chosen not only for their technical expertise, but also for communication skills, and the value they place on patient care. Choosing a hearing professional is one of the most important decisions a hearing impaired person can make. Since a hearing aid cannot be prescribed like eye glasses, proper hearing aid recommendation and fitting is highly dependent on the judgment and skill of the professional selecting the instrument.
