Description
However, all problems are not tangible …some are economic or business model related. Therefore, another way we solve our customer’s problems is to create a market opportunity where foreign competition, excessive regulation, or technological development threatens that customer’s business. Our solution set provides these customers an avenue to grow their business or change their economic position by creating new markets where no such avenue previously existed. This has given us a depth and breadth of not just knowledge, but understanding to apply to other application markets.
Joint Design: For optimum results, joints should be a minimum of 4 times greater than the anticipated movement. Minimum recommended joint size should be 1/4” x 1/4”. Maximum joint size should be 1/2” wide by 3/8” deep. Joint Backing: An open cell backer rod should be used to control joint depth. In shallow joints, a bond breaker tape should be installed toprevent three point contact. Application and Tooling: Apply with conventional equipment, filling the joint completely. When temperatures are below 40 degrees F, application will be easier if sealant is warmed.
“Solving problems is what we excel in and enabling automotive professionals to thrive in adversarial times is one of those problems that we are addressing,” commented John Becker IV, President of CMT. “All along, we have created products that offer the opportunity for new and innovative profit centers that create jobs and help revitalize our economy. It isn’t the same world it used to be. Now, we are not only inventing new products and technologies, but also eliminating business and structural barriers to the installer’s success.
