A Great Day of Fun at our... ...Young Eagles Rally, was on a beautiful, albeit hot Saturday morning. Seven different aircraft and pilots were available to educate our young guests and give the Gift of Flight. Our thanks to Airport Manager Pete O'Brien (left) and Richmor Aviation for the use of their facilities at the Columbia County Airport (seen here with Steve Mapes, our Treasurer.) The rally is part of the EAA Aviation Foundation's Young Eagles Program, created to get more young people interested in aviation. Volunteer EAA pilots have provided one million young people an airplane ride by the 100th anniversary of powered flight and the 50th anniversary of EAA
