Description

SoftLayer was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. We were acquired by IBM in July, 2013.

To provide future service and support. Information collected for this purpose is both contact data and information related to products and service/support requested. This information is also used to provide service, product update, and similar notices.

To the extent Customer orders Third Party Services under TPS Agreements, SoftLayer is not responsible for such Third Party Services and the provider of the Third Party Service is solely responsible for providing such Third Party Services. However, the Customer also agrees that the following terms of the TOS apply to such Third Party Services: Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, 15 and 16.

SoftLayer data centers are built to meet the privacy and security controls required in the FedRAMP and FISMA standards (certification pending for data centers reserved for government workloads). Additionally, we provide SOC 2, Type II reports for all customers who need detail about our controls for other certifications, such as PCI-DSS and HIPAA compliance.

Maintenance and Support: SoftLayer is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application, as specified in the EULA, or as required under applicable law. SoftLayer and Customer acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application.
