Description

Jeanette has over 20 years of experience in career development within higher education at public and private institutions, with experience in student and alumni counseling & programs, cooperative education, employer relations & recruiting, program development and overall career center supervision & management. She is currently the director of the Career Center at Springfield College. The Springfield College Career Center was selected as a Finalist for 2013 NACE Innovation Excellence Award in the category of Student Engagement—Small College.

Associate membership is open to representatives of organizations whose purpose is to provide a service to career services and/or staffing functions, and are complementary to, consonant with, and supportive of the purposes of the organization, but who do not qualify for either College or Employer membership.

Group Associate membership is open to companies/organizations whose purpose is to provide a service to career services and/or staffing functions, and are complementary to, consonant with, and supportive of the purposes of the organization, but who do not qualify for either College or Employer membership.

Walter has been a member of EACE for the past 14 years. During this time, he has co-chaired the Diversity Advancement Committee and served on the EACE Board as Director of College Member Services. In addition, he has been a part of several conference planning teams, where he has worked with site, entertainment, sponsorship, and programming. In 2008, he was presented with the EACE Tribute Award. Last year, his service to EACE was acknowledged with a Presidential Citation for Outstanding Volunteer.
