Description

Eagle Wire Works, Inc., founded in 1896 by John V. Malik, as a wire form company involved in the manufacturing of wire memorial stands for cemetery lots and memorial services. Since it's humble beginnings Eagle Wire Works, Inc. was located in Cleveland, Ohio, on Ontario Street which is now Jacobs Field, home of the Cleveland Indians. We then moved to Woodland Ave and finally to our location today on East 66th and Hubbard in the 1950's. At the time of our final move, we specialized in manufacturing for children goods (wire forms for basinets, baby chairs etc...), and sporting goods (NFL Helmet face guards). During World War II we made stainless steel, anti-magnetic fan guards for submarines.
