Description
CPCD was founded in 1987 as a spin-off of Catholic Charities to manage the Head Start program in El Paso County. At that time, it was funded to serve 300 children in just one program.
Marty has vast experience in volunteerism and the local nonprofit community. A graduate of Colorado College, she is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Pikes Peak, and has completed master-level coursework in nonprofit management and Nonprofit Leadership courses with the Center for Creative Leadership. She is also a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable.
Jerilyn, a native of Southern California, has 10 years of experience in human resources. Before coming to CPCD, she was the director of human resources at Peak Vista Community Health Centers. Jerilyn earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources from the University of New Mexico. She has a Professional in Human Resources certification and is pursuing her Certified Employee Benefit Specialist professional designation.
