Our Mission - The Technology Department of Canton Union School District #66 is to provide professional service, support, and training, encompassing educational media and technology for district students and staff. Technology at Canton Union School District has been identified as one of the priority organizational goals addressed in the district's strategic plan . Canton Union School District will continue to increase student and faculty accessibility to technology.

The Freshman Academy will have classes that meet the needs of all students from the struggling learners who will have support systems in place to meet their needs, to the accelerated learners who will participate in the honors level courses. All students will benefit from shared academy goals such as: increase student attendance, support student academic success, provide credit acquisition, facilitate a smooth transition into the high school environment, and address student disciplinary concerns.

A true strength of Ingersoll is the staff's dedication to achieving its mission. Ingersoll Middle School is committed to establishing and maintaining a safe environment and a dynamic educational program which meet the unique intellectual, physical, emotional, and social needs of the early adolescent learner. A strong school community relationship emphasizing good communication is important to the success of this mission. Ingersoll Middle School staffs more than sixty full and part-time certified personnel.
