Eco-Drip is a full service subsurface drip irrigation (SDI) company specializing in design, installation, and support of SDI solutions for irrigation and fertigation. Eco-Drip is 65 employees strong with specialists in design, service, fertigation, and moisture management. We believe in not only providing our producers with a superior irrigation system, but also guiding them as they learn to utilize their new system. Sub surface drip irrigation allows producers to accomplish fertigation and irrigation in a way that has never been done before.

The “Complete System” starts with a properly designed and installed subsurface drip irrigation system. But we don’t stop there; we have management tools to provide you real time data, an agronomic department to provide fertigation solutions, and a service department for yearly maintenance and in season trouble shooting. Eco-Drip will be there, from installation to harvest, helping you learn to utilize and manage your new system.

System maintenance is critical to the longevity of your drip system. Whether it is being proactive with routine maintenance or responding to increased pressure, the experts at Eco-Drip have the knowledge and experience to take care of your needs. There are four proactive services that Eco-Drip provides to prolong the life of your drip system.

“Probably 95% of our customers in Texas are cotton people,” says Eco-Drip President Brian Frerich. In addition, there’s a corn clientele in the Texas Panhandle, along with alfalfa and melon producers. Eco-Drip also is growing in adoption by cotton growers in Oklahoma in the Altus cotton growing region. In western Nebraska, subsurface drip irrigation is being used on all sorts of crop rotations — everything from wheat and dry beans to beets.

Eco-Drip Irrigation was incorporated in 1984, using an old railroad car as a warehouse and the Frerich’s home for an office. Hubert focused on solving technical problems while Annette took care of the business operation. It was not unusual to find Hubert up at 2 a.m. designing systems, all of which were done by hand, including the contour maps. Hubert learned early that customer service required 24/7 availability. He told the farmers they could get him anytime and he responded no matter the hour.
