Your satisfaction is our top priority and we want you to be 100% happy with your EcoSak. As soon as you unpack your bean bag chair, be sure to inspect each component of it for any defects or damages that may have occurred during shipping. Please be aware that some wear and tear will occur to the package during transport, and this is normal. If you notice any excessive damage to the packaging, please note this on the delivery receipt before the carrier leaves. If your package arrives damaged or destroyed, do not dispose of the shipping materials. You will need to contact both Fed Ex and our customer service department immediately. If for any reason your order is incorrect, damaged, defective, missing items, etc., please call or email us immediately to report the issue, and we will send a replacement item at no cost to you as soon as possible. Our customer service hours are Mon-Fri 6:00a – 7:00p MST, and 8am - 4pm Sat. If you are unsatisfied, we will gladly accept your return for 30 days from date of purchase. Within this time we will refund 100% of your purchase price, however you are responsible for shipping and handling charges to return the product to us.

We’ve noticed there are a lot of companies out there claiming to sell Eco friendly bean bags and we’d like to set the record straight. At EcoSak, we offer organic cotton bean bag chairs that are comfortable and eco-conscious. Many bean bag manufacturers are filling their bags with repurposed foam -- that is, foam that is a byproduct of furniture production. And we think it’s great. We feel there’s really no reason to use polystyrene beans, virgin foam, or vinyl…our landfills simply don’t have room for it all. But we take it a few steps further. All of our green bean bags are covered in soft, silky 100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton , and every EcoSak has a liner so you can remove the cover and wash it. Our EcoSak eco friendly bean bags include an organic cotton liner under the cover as well (it’s not an upgrade!), because we think washable furniture is key -- especially if you have pets or children. We believe that green furniture for kids should be easy to clean and long-lasting. That’s why we offer replacement covers, so you can renew your EcoSak after years of enjoyment.

The State of California requires all foams used in furniture to have a flame retardant that complies with the "State of California, Technical Bullettin 117, Jan. 1980." Because California requires this for any furniture to be sold in the state, the entire nation for the most part complies because it is a huge part of the market. The foam we use is sourced from furniture scraps that come from various manufacturers, and each of them comply with Cal 117. These manufacturers do not all use the same flame retardants so it is hard for us to know the exact composition, but they have all been proven safe for human exposure. There are lots of resources on the web that can help you understand what exactly the retardants are made of. Recently, there have been some safer and less toxic flame retardants introduced to the market, and we would expect the trend toward these to continue. Additionally, the composition includes about 5% Soy Oil mixed with the petrochemical base. Aside from buckwheat hulls, dried beans, and non-chemically treated wood, there is little, if any furniture out there that is totally non toxic.
