Welcome to the Econo Foods & T&C Markets Web site. We are excited to share a little about ourselves with you!James Tadych, owner and founder of T&C Markets began his grocery career as a young man working his father’s family store. His father always stressed customer satisfaction is ALWAYS first and Jim has set that as a high priority in all his stores today. He took time out from his father’s store to serve his country in the Army. In 1968, upon his return from the service was the beginning of a great company when he purchased his first store in Brillion, Wisconsin.Jim has been fortunate to see that the grocery world was changing by leaps and bounds, not only structurally but technologically as well. T&C Markets in Shawano, Wisconsin was the next store with Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin close behind. The store in Sturgeon Bay brought in a new concept of a warehouse style store that brought LOW PRICES to the area along with the name Econo Foods. Econo Foods now has three other locations in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
