Economic Development Consultants, Inc. is a private company, located in Miami, Florida, that assists businesses with locations in the State of Florida to obtain business incentives and tax benefits from various state and local programs. EDC determines which programs may be available, now or in the future; prepares and completes all applications, paperwork and administrative details ; tracks and meets deadlines; and handles all follow-up until the incentives and benefits are realized.

Over the past ten years, EDC has worked with many types of businesses to obtain benefits from the Enterprise Zone Program. Our clients range from small businesses with less than ten employees to companies with thousands of employees; from offices to facilities or centers that span entire city blocks to individual tenants at a single location or multiple locations. We determine which, if any, Enterprise Zone benefits may apply to our clients.

Based in Miami-Dade County, EDC is a firm that specializes in the Enterprise Zone Program. Over the past ten years, EDC has obtained Enterprise Zone benefits for over one hundred companies, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small, family owned businesses. Our philosophy is to make the Enterprise Zone program easy for our clients, while obtaining the maximum benefits available.

EDC is paid on a percentage basis of the benefits obtained and received by our clients. EDC was founded in 1997 by Herb Friesner and Laurie Friesner Bomstein, a father/daughter team. Herb Friesner is a retired attorney, having practiced law for 43 years in Miami. Laurie Friesner Bomstein has a MBA and BBA in Economics.
