Description

Sue ran for Fort Collins City Council in 2011 and plans to run for public office again in the future. She is a life-long volunteer. She Co-Chairs the Veterans Plaza of Northern Colorado, a project that pays tribute to all military men and women associated with Northern Colorado. She has volunteered for boards, business associations, and is currently a volunteer phlebotomist for the 9 Health Fair. She was a volunteer paramedic for over 20 years, a volunteer firefighter, and Director of Operations for a volunteer ambulance service. Her background and experience with manufacturing technology interpersonal, soft skills will be very valuable for her role in career services.

Shawn has worked in the Wind industry for over 4 years and brings a variety of knowledge to the Wind Program at Ecotech. In 2002 he started working a 2-year college as a Developmental Math Instructor, but later returned to complete a Masters in Engineering Physics.

He currently serves on the boards of EcoLogic Analytics, a developer of meter data management software, and TransAmerican Strukturoc, a manufacturer of textured wall covering systems for use in the pre-engineered steel building industry.

Ecotech Institute's programs are designed for direct entry into the workforce in the fields of renewable energy, sustainability, and energy efficiency.

Mr. Coyne has gained direct experience in almost every functional area of business organizations and has a varied background across multiple industry sectors. With work spanning eighteen countries over 25 years, he has been directly responsible for more than $1.7 billion in assets. He is nationally recognized for his work in sustainability, emphasizing corporate strategic opportunities and a for-profit model to enhance the enterprise and community. His "Sustainable Strategy" course at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University is at the forefront of new strategic thought in the 21st century business world.
