Description

Excitement was running high April 9th as students from the elementary school, junior/senior high and St. Mary’s School were on hand to witness the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Pre-K - 8 school. The administration wanted this day to be about the kids and several of the students were called on to help turn the dirt that had been specially placed outside the construction zone as work continues on the site. The building project which is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2011, started 10 years ago when the Board of Education and School Administrators secured funding through a bond issue and the Expedited Local Partnership to construct the high school on East River Street through the Ohio High School Facilities Commission.
