As President of Edison Cricket Club, Atul Huckoo has led the club from the front. He has attracted corporate sponsorships from different industry segments and Fortune 500 companies. Some of the prominent sponsors include, but not limited to, Emirates Airline, Glaceau, Dish Network, State Bank of India, Bisleri, DIRECTV, Kingfisher Beer, Alfred Hammel Swiss Watches, Indus American Bank, Western Union, Western Union, Remit2India, High Point, EBC Radio and ICICI Bank. Under his guidance, the club members have fewer monetary worries and more time to enjoy what they love most – Cricket. He has been instrumental to get the Edison Cricket Club registered as a 501-3(c) non-profit organization. He was also instrumental in getting a dedicated home ground granted to the club from Edison Township. To popularize the game of cricket in Edison he started a T20 community cricket tournament in which prominent leaders of the community would play the game along with ECC members. One of his pet projects which he started last year was a under-15 and under-19 coaching academy for children of Edison township along with Edison School Board which was a great success. He also started Edison Cricket Club annual gala awards night which is become one of the most awaited events within the South Asian Diaspora in Edison Township for the last six years. He has been invited to conduct cricket workshops in Hindi at the prestigious Kean University in New Jersey. He is also the official selector for the dreamcricket youth team. For the last 3 years he has been in the executive committee of the Cricket League of New Jersey (CLNJ) in the form of the media director a position which he still holds. During the winter time you can also hear Atul on the Radio Show “Full Toss ” on Dhoom FM as a guest speaker talking on local and international along with host Amit Godbole and co host Amaranth S. Atul, has been connected with cricket all his life. He has represented his school and college in Mumbai while he played for various cricket clubs too. In Dubai, UAE he represented Gulf News, a newspaper conglomerate, in many cricket tournaments including day and night games played at iconic Sharjah Cricket Stadium. He also represented Professional Management Group, a Sunil Gavaskar-owned company.
