ECCU checking accounts can be set up for optional overdraft protection. We provide overdraft protection through a pre-established credit line for qualified members. If you write a check exceeding your checking balance, that amount will automatically be transferred from your line-of-credit, setting up an instant loan (up to your approved limit). OOPS protects you from costly overdraft and returned check fees.
