With fly by night organizations opening and closing every day risking great liability to moving & rigging customers, I’m proud to have been part of this industry for over 50 years. Since 1961, we’ve been in the business of solving transportation and rigging problems for over-sized and over-weight loads in many industries across America.

Being in the business for over 50 years, we’ve learned a lot. What we haven’t left behind is our personalized care. While we’ve grown a lot in size, we still handle each customer’s needs with very individualized care. We find our experience translates into advantages throughout the process.

Edwards specializes in heavy moving, heavy rigging, and all oversized items that require special handling. We can provide turnkey service for single units as well as mass transportation and multiple move projects. Through the use of state-of-the-art equipment and procedures, we are able to provide legal axle spacing; to balance and distribute loads so that heavy units can cross bridges and travel over highways that otherwise might be prohibited. By continually upgrading our technology, Edwards Moving & Rigging maintains a competitive edge.

My experience in the industry has been from the ground up. I started running a crew for Edwards in 1978. Over the years, I have personally observed many changes throughout our industry. These changes have required us to maintain our competitive edge by enhancing our recruitment and retention of highly skilled personnel and providing them with ongoing training. Complementing the experience and dedication of the Edwards team is our investment in the most modern and innovative equipment in the world. As a result, we get great satisfaction in solving unique moving and rigging challenges.
