The Egan Group was founded in 1998 as a result of American Home Products Corporation's divestiture of its Sherwood-Davis & Geck medical device subsidiary. This divestiture created a unique opportunity to assemble a team of professional, seasoned Fortune 500 senior executives and offer their combined experience to benefit other companies in the health care industry. The principals of the Egan Group possess in excess of 75 years of aggregate experience in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.
