Description
The Arizona Chapter of the Environmental Information Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing environmental information to individuals, members, and industry professionals. We specialize in the dissemination of information about the abatement of Asbestos & Lead Based Paint, Microbial Remediation and Analysis, Safety & Health Issues, Analytical Issues, and Environmental Site Assessments. Regulatory seminars are held at various locations around the state. These seminars cover federal, state and local regulations affecting the asbestos containing materials. Building department officials, building owners, developers, contractors and consultants are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to understand the regulations and why they have have a great deal of liability. Information is presented explaining ways to comply with construction notification requirements and to avoid the liability on demolition and renovation sites because of the presence of asbestos in buildings. Membership is valid until January 1st through December 31st or each year. To renew your membership, or sign up as a new member, please complete the Membership Application. Our monthly meetings are the last Wednesday of each month, except in December, it is the same day as the Christmas Party and Steak Fry. Please visit the Meetings page for information on dates, locations, topics, presentations and speakers.
