Our team consists of a combination of talents experienced in wastewater treatment, process control, and software engineering. Dr. Alex Ekster, principal, is a registered Civil and Mechanical Engineer, grade IV wastewater treatment operator, and diplomat of the Academy of Environmental Engineers. He has authored and co-authored dozens of papers and presentations discussing wastewater treatment optimization and automation. He also is a contributing author for the Metcalf and Eddy Wastewater Engineering textbook. In 1998, Dr. Ekster received a Philip Morgan Medal for development of SRT control technology.
